Description
Cooked apples that are great mixed in muffin or pancake batter; or served with ice cream, whipped cream, or sprinkled with granola
Ingredients
6 | Apples, peeled, cored and chopped | |
1⁄4 | c | Pure organic apple juice |
2 | T | Pure honey or maple syrup |
2 | t | Ground cinnamon |
1⁄8 | t | Ground nutmeg |
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a cooking pot. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it starts to simmer. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes until apples are tender.
